Flexible duct makes the final connection between a rigid duct or plenum box and a ceiling diffuser. How it is built, where it fits, and how to specify it.

An eyeball jet nozzle throws air a long way and can be re-aimed. A swirl diffuser mixes air fast. A square diffuser spreads it evenly across a ceiling grid. How each works and how to choose.

An eyeball jet diffuser throws a concentrated stream of air a long distance and can be re-aimed after installation. How it works, how to aim it, where it fits, and when a fixed nozzle is the better choice.

What to ask a Flowbar manufacturer before buying in India: reveal dimensions, material and finish, technical data, and what to send with an enquiry. Goodwind is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

A Flowbar suits ceilings where the air supply must stay visually concealed, such as hotels, offices, retail and showrooms. Where it fits, and when a trimless or visible slot diffuser is the better choice.

Installing a Flowbar means the architect, MEP engineer and ceiling contractor agree the shadow gap detail before the ceiling is built. Who decides what, the sequence to follow, and common coordination problems.

To size a Flowbar diffuser, divide the zone airflow by the available slot length, then check slot velocity, throw and noise against the manufacturer's data. A worked example and the data to ask for.

A hidden slot diffuser such as the Goodwind Flowbar supplies air through a narrow opening built into a ceiling shadow gap or reveal. How the air path works and how it differs from trimless and visible slot diffusers.
